Who We Are
RapAlbumReviews (rapalbumreviews.com) is an independent hip-hop review publication operated from Türkiye. This policy explains what happens to your data when you read the site.
The site has no user accounts, comments, newsletter sign-up, contact form or payments. We do not ask for your name or e-mail address anywhere.
What We Collect
- Cookie choice record: when you save a choice in the cookie window we record the choice, its date, the page you were on, your IP address, browser information, country and a random identifier assigned to your browser.
- Google Analytics (only if you allow Analytics): pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, referring site and how you interact with pages. Google sets cookies for this.
- Aggregate visit statistics (Vercel Web Analytics): page views, referrers, country, device and browser type. No cookies are set and you are not identified individually.
- Server logs: like any website, our hosting provider processes your IP address and request details to deliver pages and keep the service secure.
How We Use It
- To understand which reviews and pages are read, so we can improve the site.
- To remember your cookie choice and to be able to prove it.
- To keep the site secure and available.
We do not sell your data, and the site carries no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Legal Bases
Google Analytics runs on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through Cookie Preferences. Cookie choice records are kept to meet our legal obligations and on the basis of our legitimate interest in proving consent. Cookieless statistics and server logs rest on our legitimate interest in running and securing the site.

These providers process data on our behalf. Their servers may be located outside your country, including in the United States.

Retention
Google Analytics data is kept according to the retention setting of our Google Analytics property. Cookie choice records are kept for as long as needed to prove consent and for the limitation periods set by law. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, to withdraw consent and to complain to your data protection authority. These rights exist, among others, under the EU and UK GDPR, the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, Art. 11) and US state privacy laws such as the CCPA.

Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. Reviews discuss albums that may contain explicit content.
