All Logic Albums Ranked Best to Worst (2026)

Logic has released nine studio albums, and this page ranks all nine, from Under Pressure (2014) to Ultra 85 (2024). His mixtapes (including the Young Sinatra and Bobby Tarantino series), the Supermarket soundtrack, the YS Collection compilation, his EPs and beat tapes, and Live and in Color, his 2025 collaborative album with Juicy J, are not ranked.

Why it ranks here

Under Pressure is Logic at his most direct. No I.D. produced most of it, with 6ix, DJ Dahi, DJ Khalil and Jake One adding to a 1990s-leaning sound, and the standard edition has no guests at all. The storytelling about his family and Maryland upbringing is specific and unsparing, and the long title track is the emotional center. HipHopDX compared it to a feature film about his life; it scored 72 on Metacritic.

Context

His debut studio album, released October 21, 2014 on Visionary and Def Jam after a run of Young Sinatra mixtapes. It debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and is certified platinum.

Highlights

  • Soul Food
  • Gang Related
  • Buried Alive
  • Nikki
  • Under Pressure

Weak Spots

  • Rolling Stone found the lyrics surface-level
  • His influences, especially Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole, are sometimes too audible

Production

No I.D. · 6ix · DJ Dahi · DJ Khalil · Jake One

Influence

Established Logic as a major-label force and made his fan base, built on mixtapes, a commercial one.

Replay Value

High — the most cohesive record he has made.

Why it ranks here

Marketed as his final album, No Pressure reunites Logic with No I.D. and sounds relaxed in a way none of his other records do. The beats are warm and soulful, the rapping is nimble on "GP4" and "Celebration", and old radio-show samples give it a frame. AllMusic called it one of his most clearheaded albums. It scored 78 on Metacritic, the highest of his career.

Context

His sixth studio album, released July 24, 2020. It debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with 221,000 units, behind Taylor Swift's Folklore. He announced his return a year later.

Highlights

  • Hit My Line
  • GP4
  • Celebration
  • Perfect
  • DadBod

Weak Spots

  • The retirement framing did not last
  • A few songs feel slight

Production

No I.D. · 6ix · FnZ · Logic

Influence

Widely seen as a return to form after Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, and it reset how critics viewed him.

Replay Value

High — easy, warm and front-to-back listenable.

Why it ranks here

Logic's second album is a space-travel concept record, with spoken scenes threaded between the songs. "Fade Away", "Upgrade" and "Young Jesus" show his technique at its sharpest, and the 6ix-led production is lush and detailed. AllMusic said he came into his own here, while Pitchfork felt he had not yet found what set him apart. It scored 75 on Metacritic.

Context

His second studio album, released November 13, 2015. It debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 with 135,000 units and topped the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.

Highlights

  • Fade Away
  • Upgrade
  • Young Jesus
  • Innermission
  • Paradise

Weak Spots

  • The skits interrupt the music
  • The concept is more setting than story

Production

6ix · Logic · Sir Dylan · DJ Dahi · DJ Khalil

Influence

Built the sci-fi lore that runs through his later albums, including Ultra 85.

Replay Value

Moderate to high — better without the scenes.

Why it ranks here

YSIV ends the Young Sinatra series with Logic doing what he enjoys most: rapping hard over 6ix's boom-bap-flavored beats. The opening run of "Everybody Dies", "The Return" and "The Glorious Five" is among his best, and "Wu Tang Forever" brings together every living member of the Wu-Tang Clan. The New York Times called it his most confident release yet; it scored 71 on Metacritic.

Context

His fourth studio album, released September 28, 2018, the first entry in the Young Sinatra series credited as an album rather than a mixtape. It peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.

Highlights

  • Everybody Dies
  • The Return
  • The Glorious Five
  • Wu Tang Forever
  • Legacy

Weak Spots

  • Over an hour long
  • Some later tracks lose the opening's focus

Production

6ix · Logic · Cubeatz · Naz.

Influence

A favorite among fans who prefer Logic as a pure technician.

Replay Value

Moderate to high — the first half especially.

Why it ranks here

Ultra 85 returns to the sci-fi world of The Incredible True Story with 6ix and Logic producing most of it. At 77 minutes it is the longest album he has made, and the skits and lore demand patience, but the rapping is lively on "Paul Rodriguez" and "Deja Vu". AllMusic called it vibrant, back to basics and one of his more mature efforts.

Context

His ninth studio album, released August 9, 2024 through BobbyBoy, Three Oh One Productions and BMG. It peaked at No. 45 on the Billboard 200.

Highlights

  • Paul Rodriguez
  • Deja Vu
  • Fear
  • Innerstellar
  • Teleport

Weak Spots

  • Seventy-seven minutes is a lot
  • Rewards lore fans more than casual listeners

Production

6ix · Logic · Beat Butcha · Kaelin Ellis

Influence

Closed a loop on the concept he began in 2015, for a smaller but devoted audience.

Replay Value

Moderate — strong songs inside a long frame.

Why it ranks here

Everybody is Logic's most ambitious and most uneven record: a concept album about race, identity and empathy, with Killer Mike, Black Thought, Chuck D and Neil deGrasse Tyson among the guests. "1-800-273-8255", with Alessia Cara and Khalid, became his signature song and a widely discussed message about suicide prevention. But The A.V. Club found it merely amiable, and the preaching wears thin. It scored 65 on Metacritic.

Context

His third studio album, released May 5, 2017. It was his first No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

Highlights

  • Everybody
  • Confess
  • America
  • 1-800-273-8255
  • Black Spiderman

Weak Spots

  • Heavy-handed messaging
  • The concept sometimes overwhelms the songs

Production

6ix · Logic · No I.D. · DJ Khalil

Influence

"1-800-273-8255" made Logic a household name and brought mental-health conversations into mainstream rap.

Replay Value

Moderate — the singles more than the album.

Why it ranks here

Vinyl Days is a sample-heavy tribute to golden-era rap with guests including Action Bronson, Royce da 5'9", RZA, AZ and DJ Premier. The rapping is sharp and the sound is warm, but thirty tracks and constant skits bury the best moments. Pitchfork called it both impressive and tiring, and AllMusic thought a shorter version could have been a classic.

Context

His seventh studio album and last with Visionary and Def Jam, released June 17, 2022. It debuted at No. 12 on the Billboard 200.

Highlights

  • Decades
  • Tetris
  • In My Lifetime
  • Ten Years
  • Vinyl Days

Weak Spots

  • Thirty tracks is far too many
  • Skits break the flow

Production

6ix · Logic · T-Minus · Mario Luciano

Influence

Marked the end of his major-label era and his turn toward sample-based, independent records.

Replay Value

Moderate — better as a playlist.

Why it ranks here

Named after a Maryland city near where he grew up, College Park leans on hometown nostalgia and a long list of guests — RZA, Redman, Joey Badass, Bun B, Lil' Keke and Norah Jones among them. There are good moments, but it sprawls across seventeen tracks and leans on nostalgia more than new ideas, and it made little critical or commercial impact.

Context

His eighth studio album, released February 24, 2023 through BobbyBoy, Three Oh One Productions and BMG — his first independent release in a decade. It debuted at No. 21 on the Billboard 200.

Highlights

  • Cruisin' Through the Universe
  • Lightsabers
  • Self Medication
  • Shimmy
  • Paradise II

Weak Spots

  • Unfocused sequencing
  • Skits and in-jokes for longtime fans

Production

6ix · Logic · PSTMN · Boi-1da

Influence

Mainly significant as the start of his independent phase.

Replay Value

Low to moderate.

Why it ranks here

Despite a strong title track and guests including Eminem, Gucci Mane, Wiz Khalifa and Will Smith, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind is Logic's weakest album. HipHopDX felt it exposed his insecurities more than it humanized him, Exclaim! found it short on substance, and "Clickbait" spends its energy answering critics. It scored 65 on Metacritic from only four reviews.

Context

His fifth studio album, released May 10, 2019, two months after the Supermarket soundtrack. It still debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 80,000 units.

Highlights

  • Confessions of a Dangerous Mind
  • Homicide
  • Clickbait
  • Keanu Reeves
  • Lost in Translation

Weak Spots

  • Thin, defensive writing
  • Guests feel like box-ticking

Production

6ix · Cubeatz · DJ Khalil · Frank Dukes · Illmind

Influence

Its backlash shaped the retirement and reset that led to No Pressure a year later.

Replay Value

Low — the title track and "Homicide", then little else.

Essay

The Complete Picture

Logic's two No I.D. records — Under Pressure and No Pressure — bookend his major-label career and remain his best work, with The Incredible True Story close behind. The commercial peak of Everybody and Confessions of a Dangerous Mind brought hits but weaker albums, and his independent records since are full of skill, lore and length.

Start with Under Pressure, then No Pressure. Fans of concept albums should try The Incredible True Story next, and Ultra 85 shows where he has landed since leaving Def Jam.
