Daytona
(2018)“Seven songs, twenty-one minutes, no wasted bars”
Daytona is the most concentrated Pusha T record. Kanye West produced every track from soul and rock samples, and Pusha raps with total control, from the sly "If You Know You Know" to the Rick Ross feature "Hard Piano" and the closing "Infrared", whose shots at Drake set off one of the decade's biggest rap feuds. Pitchfork called it a near-airtight exercise in focus; it scored 86 on Metacritic and was nominated for the Grammy for Best Rap Album.
